48 Hours in Santorini

So you’re in Santorini for around 48 hours, what do you do?

Here’s my list of must see and do things for a quick visit to Santorini.

Day 1

Start your day by visiting Fira the main town and check out the shops. Lots of good fashion and trinkets to find in cute little shops scattered across the Caldera.

Have lunch at a local gyros or souvlaki shop. They are cheap, safe and also delicious! My favourite is Luckys Souvlaki in Fira or Obelix also in Fira.

Head back to your hotel have a snooze and get ready for the night ahead!

Have a late dinner at a local taverna, my favourite in Fira is called Kapari – they serve traditional Greek dishes and are affordable.

After dinner hit up 2 Brothers Bar…happy hour starts at 10pm where you can get 2 for 1 cocktails. Party starts to heat up at around midnight, best music at this bar.

Day 2

Depending on how late you got in the night before, get up and head to Perivolos Beach. You can get there by bus from Fira bus station for around 2 euro one way. Go to JoJos Beach Bar and enjoy the sun and sand.

Around late afternoon head over to Oia to watch the famous sunset. Again there are buses to Oia via Fira bus station.

Head home pack your bags and your done! Santorini in 48 hours! 20140720-214831-78511113.jpg
